Carmelo Anthony

10-time NBA All-Star, entrepreneur and New York Times bestselling author Carmelo Anthony has led a storied career as a three-time Olympic gold medalist and ninth on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. His legacy on the court continues today, and Anthony’s incredible career has also paved the way for his many other brands, business ventures, and philanthropic efforts on a global platform. As a trailblazer in bridging the gap between athlete and entrepreneur, Anthony co-founded Melo7 Tech Partners in 2013 to invest in and develop opportunities in early-stage digital media, consumer ventures and emerging platforms. His New York Times bestselling memoir, Where Tomorrows Aren’t Promised details the stories of his upbringing and the immeasurable odds he overcame to make it to where he is today. Anthony’s hands-on approach to building his expansive enterprise extends to entertainment and his other lines of business as well. Spurred by a passion for inclusive, purpose-driven content, Anthony and his longtime business partner and co-founder, Asani Swann, established Creative 7 as a global, multi-platform content company producing purpose-driven projects spanning television, film, audio, and digital content. Most recently, Anthony launched his global estate brand, VII(N) – The Seventh Estate and announced its inaugural vintage, a Châteauneuf-du-Pape named Oath of Fidelity. With VII(N), Anthony wanted to find a way to bring a fresh perspective to the traditional wine industry and merge the old world and the new world together. Carmelo’s passion for all things wine is the foundation of his viral podcast, “What’s In Your Glass”, which he created to discuss the world of fine wine and utilized it as a vehicle to engage in thought-provoking conversations with special guests around the state of the country and what we can do to push progress forward. Social justice and equality have informed and continue to serve as the throughline for all of Anthony’s endeavors, including his work as a co-founder of The Social Change Fund United, which was created in response to the continued racial injustice across our country and aims to support critical and timely issues impacting the Black community.
