Traci Des Jardins

A California native of a small central valley ag community, Traci Des Jardins has been a part of the San Francisco food scene  for over 28 years and has opened many great San Francisco restaurants including Mijita, The Commissary, Arguello, Public House and School Night  and the recently closed  Jardinière.  Traci is the culinary advisor to Impossible Foods which launched the Impossible Burger in the summer of 2016.

A dedicated philanthropist, Traci is involved in the local non-profit La Cocina, a business incubator for low income food entrepreneurs, hunger relief efforts through Share Our Strength and many organizations supporting sustainability.  Known as one of the top female chefs in the country, Des Jardins is a two-time James Beard award-winner and has earned many industry accolades throughout her 36 year career.
