After working for a decade in the film industry, Jill Bernheimer opened Los Angeles’s first natural wine store, Domaine LA, in 2009. Since then, she has been a leading voice in the Los Angeles wine community, and has long championed small-production and independent winemakers. In 2024, she co-founded Bar Étoile, a Hollywood restaurant that brings classic French bistro energy into a relaxed California setting, with a focus on thoughtful wines, seasonal cooking, and convivial hospitality.
