June Rodil

June Rodil MS is the kind of Master Sommelier who believes world-class wine service should feel like a party, not a pop quiz. Born in the Philippines and raised in Texas, she’s now CEO & Partner of Houston-based Goodnight Hospitality, the group behind MICHELIN-starred MARCH Restaurant, Bib Gourmand darling Rosie Cannonball, MICHELIN-Recommended The Marigold Club, and beloved neighborhood spot Montrose Cheese & Wine.

Over her career, June has helped shape more than twenty hospitality concepts and earned multiple James Beard Award nominations, along with Sommelier of the Year honors from both Wine Enthusiast’s Wine Star Awards and Food & Wine. She still keeps a foot in Austin as a partner in June’s All Day, a former Food & Wine Restaurant of the Year, and in 2017 she launched June’s Brut Rosé as a liquid love letter to her belief that every day deserves bubbles.

June is known for building deep, thoughtful wine lists that never lose sight of fun, from benchmark classics and unicorn bottles to under-the-radar producers that overdeliver at the table. She serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Southern Smoke Foundation, is a Chef Corps member for World Central Kitchen, and an educator and speaker for the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas, championing greater equity and access in the wine world.

When not leading her restaurant group or championing industry causes, June can be found solving crossword puzzles with her husband, doting on her dog, contemplating art, cleverly avoiding exercise, and sharing laughs with friends.
